We introduce case studies of automatic pH neutralization systems that can handle both high-temperature acidic wastewater and alkaline wastewater!

We received an order for the pH neutralization treatment, including construction, due to the addition of a new line from a food factory. All tanks were selected as heat-resistant tanks (80°C) due to the high-temperature wastewater. The pH meter was also changed to a high-temperature specification, and our heat-resistant submersible pump model JCVH was incorporated into the raw water pump. The user's wastewater is discharged in batches, and depending on the situation, it can be either acidic or alkaline. Therefore, we implemented control on both sides to accommodate either condition for neutralization. A vertical mixer for dilution stirring was installed in the sulfuric acid tank. The shaft and impeller were processed with FRP lining for sulfuric acid resistance. We adopted our electromagnetic pump for both sulfuric acid and caustic soda injection pumps. We introduce case studies of the delivery of automatic pH neutralization devices for both small-scale and special neutralization, focusing on cost and response!

We received an order for the installation of a large dishwasher, including pH neutralization treatment, from a major research institution. Since the wastewater discharged from the dishwasher is high-temperature, all tanks were selected to be heat-resistant (80°C). The pH meter was also changed to a high-temperature specification. The wastewater from the dishwasher fell by its own weight, so we raised the level of the dishwasher slightly to accommodate this (using a support frame). Additionally, due to the low liquid level that could flow into the neutralization tank, we designed a custom specification to allow for rapid neutralization, proposing a compact and cost-effective design, which was ultimately adopted. We received an inquiry from a removal and demolition contractor in Hiroshima Prefecture regarding the pH neutralization treatment of asbestos-containing wash water. They requested that we be able to handle both acidic and alkaline wastewater, so we addressed this with additional design. It was noted that the sludge would settle in a sedimentation tank provided by the customer during the pre-treatment stage, so we configured the flow to only suck the supernatant using a float skimmer and an ADD-type air diaphragm pump. We also ensured that the integration with the neutralization treatment process could be completed with a single control panel, and we addressed the pressurization for further filtration of the neutralized raw water using the ADD type. We received a message from a major concrete factory in the Kanto region stating, "We are considering updating our existing neutralization equipment due to its aging." It seemed that price was a priority for them, but the proposal from the salesperson who conducted the site survey, along with the fact that our company could handle both the installation and removal work, was highly evaluated, leading to their decision to adopt our solution. They wanted to minimize the hassle of chemical replenishment, so we selected a 2m3 tank for the chemical storage. The installation location was also separate from the main neutralization equipment. Since the chemical replenishment would be done via a tanker, we prepared the tanker piping as well. Additionally, we arranged for the chemicals themselves. Furthermore, to ensure that pH fluctuations are automatically recorded, we added a recorder as an option, which was appreciated for its flexible construction and design. We received a message from a major food factory in Kansai stating that they are "looking for a neutralization device for CIP wastewater discharged from a newly established factory." Due to the complexity of the control, we proposed using a sequencer (touch panel). They appreciated that we could handle the entire construction, leading to our adoption. If neutralization does not occur for any reason, they cannot stop the equipment line. Therefore, considering all possibilities, we designed a flow that returns to the raw water tank if the average value of the two electrodes installed in the discharge tank is NG. Additionally, during the construction phase, we held discussions from the foundation design stage and worked with the user on the buried pipes from the raw water tank (concrete pit). The person in charge evaluated us by saying, "It was great to have a sales representative with technical skills whom we could entrust everything to." We received an inquiry from an architectural design company regarding a neutralization system for a clinic that is planned to be newly constructed. Since this is a meeting at the architectural design stage, we discussed details such as the drainage route, the space for the neutralization system, and the positions of the inlet and drainage pipes. Additionally, discussions with the architectural design company included the installation location, plumbing, electrical aspects, and specifications of the neutralization system, which were also coordinated with the dialysis machine manufacturer (Nipro) to proceed in detail. With 90 beds, the required processing capacity was somewhat larger, but we were able to clear the space requirements, and we managed to compactly integrate everything, including receiving all drainage through the storage tank on the Nipro side with the neutralization system.
